Misun Won
Misun Won’s jewellery is inspired from Korean traditional wrapping cloth ‘Jogakbo’ and its scientific interpretation with fractal geometry.
Misun hand pierces patterns from a single sheet of silver and bends to make its unique structure, celebrating the meaningful ritual of the patchwork making process. She mainly uses silver, gold and Keumboo (24ct gold), highlighting in colourful precious/semi-precious stones, reflecting her Korean influences to create modern contemporary jewellery.
She is specialized in ancient Korean gilding technique called 'Keumboo(24ct gold)' to emphasis the dynamic rhythmical structures in her jewellery.
